Meet Michele
Housing Counselor
HUD Certified since 2005, A+ rating with BBB
Seventeen years ago, I created a company that offered
full-service credit repair, foreclosure prevention and budget counseling services. It was during this time that I designed the programs that I still use today. I am passionate about helping people stay in their homes, counseling them on how to live within a realistic budget, and helping them repair their credit. My work is very rewarding.
With foreclosures at an all-time high across the
nation, I opened M&M Foreclosure Prevention Services 12 years ago to assist homeowners in navigating the loan modification process with their mortgage companies, create firm financial plans and re-establish their credit. With my program, I predetermine what my clients qualify for to ensure successful negotiations with their mortgage company and creditors. Until the laws can govern the lending industry in a way to protect the consumer, I am dedicated to protecting and educating homeowners and consumers.
I have many years of experience and a high rate of
success in keeping families in their homes, establishing a firm budget and repairing their credit. I do this by constantly networking and educating myself about every Federal and State program available to help my clients, as well as the qualifications necessary to apply for such programs. I have excellent references including three HUD Certifications, a BBB rating of A+, and a 2011 OKC Foreclosure Company of the Year award. I am licensed and bonded and have spent years developing a good rapport within my industry.
Since the beginning of my career, I have prayed for a
way to be a part of a community outreach program to educate and counsel people regarding budgets and financial planning. For 14 years, I have counseled people in foreclosure litigation, one at a time. Unfortunately, I can only reach people after they are in litigation. Then I received a call from a pastor at my church asking me to help establish a financial ministry to serve a congregation of 7,000. My prayers were answered, and it is with great joy that I am now a volunteer counselor and educator for Financial Freedom Ministries.
I am very proud of the work I do. Every morning
before my work begins, I ask God for discernment. It is very important to me that my business represents integrity, a strong work ethic, and value to everyone I encounter. I have dedicated my career to helping people raise their credit scores enabling them to experience financial freedom, giving them solid buying power and giving them the ability to make the most of the income they earn. A client of mine from 2009 was one of the first to receive a mortgage settlement check from the Oklahoma Attorney General in the amount of $20,000 (the maximum allowed). The services I provide are very cost effective and save my clients money in ways they never imagined possible. I take every client’s case very seriously, and confidentiality is of the utmost importance to me. I do everything within my power to ensure a positive outcome for each and every one of my clients. There is nothing more rewarding for me than to see people who were struggling financially to be able to turn things around.
